Society and Industry:
At One with Culture

Hisamitsu actively promotes cultural programs
designed for the enrichment
and entertainment of the community.

Promoting Health
and Vitality throughout the Community

Hisamitsu’s mission to serve the wellness needs of its customers extends to the promotion of health and welfare for the public at large. Accordingly, we established the Nakatomi Foundation for the Promotion of Health Science in 1988, as a means of providing financial assistance to various projects. Indeed, the foundation has given its support to numerous research projects in a broad array of fields, including basic scientific research on health promotion and programs fostering international exchange. It is all part of our investment in society—one rich in health and enthusiasm for tomorrow.

Various cultural projects designed
to promote a healthier, happier society.

We at Hisamitsu believe the value of any company is most clearly reflected in its societal contributions. Therefore, to exist in harmony with society and its people, we are involved in a range of cultural projects. Notable among these is Nakatomi Memorial Medicine Museum, which we built in the city of Tosu, Saga Prefecture. The museum symbolizes our hope that more people will learn about the history of medicine, that they will understand its purpose and benefits, and that there will be a new sense of communion with the medicines that we use. In addition to this flagship project, we sponsor many sports events and cultural programs. After all, the very essence of our products—indeed, our corporation—is to promote a safe, healthy society
