1944 Hisamitsu & Co. plays a leading role in the incorporation of Miyaki Seiyaku Co.,
1951 Hisamitsu & Co. is incorporated (Masayoshi Nakatomi, representative).
1952 The Osaka representative office (currently the Osaka branch office) opens.
1957 The Tokyo representative office (currently the Tokyo Headquarters and branch office) is opened.
1960 Taiwan Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., is incorporated.
1962 The company’s stocks are listed in the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange; shares are listed on the Fukuoka Stock Exchange.
1963 AIR SALONPAS is introduced to the market.
1964 Shares are listed in the Second Section of the Osaka Stock Exchange.
1965 The company is renamed Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Inc.
1966 The Nagoya representative office (currently the Nagoya branch office) opens.
1968 SALONPAS E is introduced.
1970 The Sapporo representative office (currently the Sapporo sales office) opens.
1971 SALONSIP is introduced.
Shares are listed in the Second Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
The construction of Tosu Laboratories (currently Pharmaceutical Technology Laboratories) is completed.
The Sendai representative office (currently the Sendai sales office) opens.
